A genus of mold which can be found within
indoor environments. Certain species are pathogenic (harmful to human
health) and cause severe sickness to those who are affected.
Clinical Information
Fusarium causes extremely dangerous skin infections. The symptoms are
similar in appearance to Strep A, the "flesh eating" bacteria. Many experts
compare the symptoms to that of leprosy.
Ulcerations or infections of the face, hands, and body are very graphic.
Once infected, most persons stay bed ridden for a considerable period.
Can further debilitate the immune system of people with suppressed immune
systems.
Preliminary analysis reveals that Fusarium has been linked to impotence.
